Told the agent I didn't want the extra insurance and even signed the form accepting all responsibility, but got charged anyway. Informed manager who said he'd fix it. Still waiting.
This UHaul store on Rt 3a North Weymouth is the biggest store UHaul has on the South Shore. They also have propane available until 5pm on Sundays. Most other propane providers close earlier. This location is good for trailer hitch installations as well.
Phillip, whose name tag said "Owner" had my drop off location incorrect. When I asked him to change it I was told that it was ok to return the truck to a differnet location and to just call the number on the contract. When I caled to change the drop off location they tried to charge me extra. It took 5 phone calls, being hung up on twice and left on hold for 20 minutes to get it fixed. Over all my experience with Uhual in this situation was lacking in both courtesy and professionalism. I would reccommend renting elsewhere.
Scheduled a hitch installed for July 23 and received an email confirmation. Upon arriving I was told that the date changed and to come back the following saturday. Went back the following saturday and was given various excuses for why it could not be done since the installer was not here because his father passed away. Was told to come back again on Monday. Terrible Customer Service!!!
